God-centered resources from the ministry of John Piper

A while ago, we sent a soldier in Iraq 25 copies of Don’t Waste Your Life. Here is part of a note he sent back to us:

I thought you might also like to know that the day I  received the books in the mail my company had a last minute BBQ. While there,  I was told I had mail and the timing was just perfect. Almost everyone in my  company was at the BBQ, and I was able to give out most of them in less than  15 minutes. Many people were gripped by the title and said they were very  interested in reading it.

This has been an ongoing missions trip for  me as it is my 2nd tour, and God has been gracious in providing study Bibles  to give out to soldiers as well as Bibles in Arabic, Pakistani, and Indian  languages for the civilians working here. The book was a perfect addition as  the evangelism opportunities here are just enormous.

What a wonderful example of God using difficult times for his glory and the good of those who love him!

We are currently working with the chaplains at Fort Benning, GA and Leonard Wood, MO to give 35,000 books to the soldiers that come through. We would love it if you helped. It only costs a dollar per book, so no gift is too small.
