Equipping African Pastors

Our friend David Holdt is pastor of Springs Baptist Church in Springs, South Africa. David and the people of his church share a deep concern for the shortage of sound evangelical teaching available in South Africa and the surrounding nations. So the church has launched Conversation Ministries and a significant part of their vision is:
"…the mass duplicating and distribution of our own preached messages, messages available from Desiring God, and audio recordings of Charles Spurgeon. We have established a range of Spurgeon sermons called, "Spurgeon Speaks Today." These we want to send, without charge, to local African pastors, missionaries laboring in Africa, and to individuals who may have no exposure to sound, evangelical preaching."
A crucial part of DG's mission is to increase access to Piper resources for ministry workers and lay people outside of the U.S., especially those who teach and mobilize others. Conversation Ministries is in need of a bulk CD duplicator to increase their capacity. So we’re purchasing one for them for about $6,000 so they can channel their funds to freely distributing the CDs. If you want to join us in helping African pastors and others receive free Piper CDs, go to our donate page and choose "African Pastor CD Project" from the list. Anything we receive over that amount will be put wherever most needed.
Let the nations be glad!
