Clarification on Political Endorsements

Desiring God does not endorse any candidate. John Piper will probably never tell you who you should vote for. That's not his calling.
My last post linked to an article that I think is clear and well-written. In my opinion, it is an article worth reading for people who care to think through political issues, whether you agree with it or not.
It was not my intention to imply that Desiring God is officially—or in any other way—endorsing one particular candidate. I realize that even just pointing to the article could come across as officially agreeing with it. I was unclear and I'm sorry.
Here’s a final clarification from John Piper:
At Desiring God we exist to spread a passion for the supremacy of God in all things for the joy of all peoples through Jesus Christ. That “all things” includes politics. Our sense of God’s calling at Desiring God is that we will serve the supremacy of God in politics better by maintaining a certain distance from candidates so that we may speak with more freedom into issues from a biblical angle.
