The Danger of Drifting - Hebrews 2:1-4

Drifting is a deadly thing in the Christian life. Failing to pay close attention to God’s Word—and the drifting away that results—is described in Hebrews 2:3 as “neglecting a great salvation.” As the remedy John Piper urges us to focus on what God is saying in his Son Jesus; to listen to Jesus, to consider Jesus, and to fix the eyes of the heart on Jesus. All our spiritual life-changes come from this joyful contemplation of our great and glorious Savior.
