Pilate’s Wife: Three Narrative Poems

The wife of Pilate holds fast to Christ. And in doing so, through grief and pain and tear- filled nights, she also holds fast to her cruel and cowardly husband, Pilate. Even when shallow counselors call her a fool for being faithful, Claudia clings to the precious promises of Christ and remains with her husband. And finally, after twenty cold and loveless years of marriage to the man who failed in every vow he made, Claudia sees God’s wonderful design for her pain.
