In 2008 God opened the door for Trinity Baptist Church in Amarillo, Texas to take Vacation Bible School (VBS) outside the four walls of their church and into the local community. This provided a unique opportunity to show love to children in their own neighborhoods—many of whom would never come to a church for VBS. Their desire to teach Bible truth melded perfectly with the vision of Children Desiring God (CDG) and they found the Backyard Bible Club curriculum a helpful resource. The goal of these four evangelistic curriculum is to awaken spiritual interest and feed spiritual hunger by exposing children to the Truth.

As the team from Trinity Baptist shares God-centered teaching on seven elementary school campuses this summer, they will be sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ with hundreds of children. We pray this seed would fall on good soil and produce a crop, yielding a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown!
