Our Easter Special Offer this year is cases of Fifty Reasons Why Jesus Came to Die for $1 per book if you will give them away.

In 2004, we distributed 1.5 million copies of The Passion of Jesus Christ. Since then we have sent out about 325,000 more.

Now, what was formerly the subtitle is its title: Fifty Reasons Why Jesus Came to Die.

We hope that even the simple act of retitling this book will help to spread the gospel. After all, most people can only name one reason Jesus came to die--for our sins. Perhaps the idea that there are at least 49 more reasons will catch the eye of unbelievers this season. Then, after it has their attention, we pray that the Spirit will move and people will be saved.

At the Pastors Conference yesterday we heard from William Mackenzie on how literature is essential to the spread of the gospel. We love participating in this spreading by making books available. But availability is not enough--they need to be put in people's hands; they need to be read; they need to be talked about.

There are many ways to reach out to the lost. Ours is certainly not the only way. But if you think this book would help you connect with unbelievers you know, we would love to join with you this Easter season in showing people why we are overjoyed that Jesus died and rose again.
