When we send out mass email message from Desiring God, our aim is not advertising.  Rather, we seek to encourage and equip you with God's word. This takes the form of notifications about new sermons, articles, and other resources freely available on our site, as well as new books, CDs, DVDs, events, specials, and other resources for sale in our store, prayer requests and ministry updates. We try to pay close attention to the amount of e-mail sent to our various email lists so as not to overwhelm your already full inbox.

We are in the middle of switching our e-mail list service to another provider.  The end result should be better e-mails and list service for you, and more effectiveness with our e-mail campaigns for us.  The only drawback is that it forces us to clean up our subscriber info, which seems to have gotten "rusty" over the years.

This means that we need to ask about 1/3 of our subscribers to re-confirm their subscription.  We have recently sent out an email to many of you requesting that you resubscribe to the list. If you have not yet done so and would like to continue to receive emails from Desiring God, would you please take a moment to resubscribe?  If you would like to be excluded from the list, simply do not respond (or you can always click unsubscribe).
