Randy Alcorn will lead one of the five breakout seminars at our National Conference in October. His seminar is entitled "Difficult Truths & Deep Love: Pondering Sovereignty, Suffering, and the Promise of Heaven."
Randy is the founder and director of Eternal Perspectives Ministries whose goal is to teach the principles of God’s Word and to reach the needy in Christ’s name.
He is the author of more than 30 books including Heaven, The Treasure Principle, and the 2002 Gold Medallion winner, Safely Home. He has also spoken at past Desiring God conferences, such as our 2007 National Conference Stand: A Call for the Endurance of the Saints and our 2004 Pastors Conference on Money, Ministry, and the Magnificence of Christ.
Randy resides in Gresham, Oregon with his wife, Nanci. The Alcorns have two married daughters, Karina and Angela, and four grandsons.
