Desiring God recently partnered with Yeni Yaşam Yayinlari (New Life Publishers) in Turkey to translate Seeing and Savoring Jesus Christ into Turkish.

It's very exciting to have this book translated, because ministering to Turkish-speaking people involves many nations, not just Turkey. Bulgaria, Germany, Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Moldova and other countries all have large populations of Turkish-speaking people.

We chose to translate Seeing and Savoring Jesus Christ because it's accessible to both unbelievers and new believers.

It was written so that people would see Jesus for who he really is and come to enjoy him above all else. Pray with us that God would use this new translation to give more people eyes to see him as solid truth and hearts to savor him with great joy.

Father, I desire that they also, whom you have given me, may be with me where I am, to see my glory that you have given me. (John 17:24).

Although Turkey and surrounding countries have roots in Christianity historically, there's a great need today for theologically sound resources. It is our prayer to partner with and encourage more ministries involved in equipping the Global Church with Christ-centered resources.
