Desiring God 2007 Regional Conference

On October 12-13, 2007, over 1400 people came together for worship, teaching and fellowship at our Regional Conference in Sacramento, California. John Piper addressed the theme “The Pleasures of God” in three messages and one session of Q&A. It was a wonderful event, and God was glorified as we were challenged to consider what makes God glad. We navigated the biblical evidence to see more clearly what the pleasures of God show us about himself so that, in turn, we can become more like him. We thank Bryte Russian Baptist Church for partnering with us to serve and bless all who attended. The happy band of church volunteers labored heartily for the joy of the attendees. Our prayer is that God would bless all who took part in this event with a new and profound appreciation of God's God-centeredness.
