John Piper is founder and teacher of desiringGod.org and chancellor of Bethlehem College & Seminary. For 33 years, he served as pastor of Bethlehem Baptist Church, Minneapolis, Minnesota. He is author of more than 50 books, including Desiring God: Meditations of a Christian Hedonist and most recently Foundations for Lifelong Learning: Education in Serious Joy.

Mark Dever is a pastor at Capitol Hill Baptist Church in Washington, D.C., the president of 9Marks (a ministry for churches and church leaders), and the author of many books, including Nine Marks of a Healthy Church. He and his wife, Connie, have two children.

Iain Murray served as assistant to Dr. Martyn Lloyd-Jones at Westminster Chapel for three years. He is an author and co-founder of Banner of Truth Trust.

J.I. Packer (1926–2020) was an English-born Canadian evangelical theologian and writer in the low-church Anglican and Calvinist traditions. He is remembered for the book Knowing God, written in 1973, as well as his work as an editor for the English Standard Version of the Bible. He was a member on the advisory board of the Council on Biblical Manhood and Womanhood, and his last teaching position was as the Board of Governors’ Professor of Theology at Regent College in Vancouver, British Columbia.
