The following seminaries offer an excellent, God-centered education. This list is not intended to be exhaustive, but a pointer to what we consider to be some of the top seminaries.

1. Bethlehem College and Seminary (BCS) in Minneapolis, MN is a church-based school affiliated with Bethlehem Baptist Church. The college offers 2-year and 4-year degrees, as well as a degree completion program. The seminary offers M.Div. and Th.M. degrees, both requiring four years of study. Learn more about BCS. Listen to or watch John Piper speak on the foundations for the school.

2. Reformed Theological Seminary in Orlando, FL. Professors include John Frame, Bruce Waltke, Steve Childers, Scott Swain, and James Coffield. RTS also has several other campuses, including Jackson, MS, and Charlotte, NC, and is explicitly devoted to education in the Reformed tradition. Therefore, all of the faculty hold to Reformed theology as set forth in the Westminster Confession and the Larger and Shorter Catechisms.

3. Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, located in Deerfield, IL, is known for providing a top-notch education. Professors include Don Carson and Graham Cole.

4. The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, located in Louisville, KY. A large number of professors at this seminary explicitly share our beliefs concerning the providence of God, election, the glory of God, and Christian Hedonism. Well-known professors include Tom Schreiner, Bruce Ware, Tom Nettles, Brian Vickers, and president Al Mohler.

5. Westminster Seminary California is in Escondido, CA with full-time professor Michael Horton.

6. Covenant Theological Seminary, located in St. Louis, MO. Covenant is the national seminary of the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA) and thus is devoted to educating in the Reformed tradition. The faculty and Board of Trustees subscribe to the Westminster Confession of Faith.

7. Westminster Theological Seminary, in Philadelphia, PA, also is devoted to educating students in the Reformed tradition.

8. Wheaton College Graduate School, while not a seminary (and hence not offering an M.Div. degree), provides a strong program for those seeking a Master of Arts in Biblical & Theological studies. A Ph.D. program also began here in recent years. Faculty include Greg Beale, Doug Moo, and Kevin Vanhoozer.

9. Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in Boston, MA. This seminary has a noteworthy OT department and a significant understanding of the importance of reaching the world, and especially New England, with the gospel.
