October 11, 2012 | by Kyle Strobel and Tony Reinke | Topic: The Love of God

In this inaugural episode, we put Jonathan Edwards scholar Kyle Strobel on the line. He recently edited a new version of Edwards’s classic work Charity and Its Fruits: Living in the Light of God's Love (Crossway, 2012). Our conversation focuses in on the role of love in the Christian life. I asked how Edwards believed the life of love is a life of calmness. We also talked about love in heaven, love in politics, the connection between love and self-love, love and idolatry, and love and joy.
