Position and description of what you do: Director of Resource Strategies. My job is to help Desiring God dream and strategize radical strategies for a ministry that has a radical message. At Desiring God we do not want to think along the lines of what is rightfully permitted, but what is the most radically fruitful, as God helps us discern the situation. We want to continually think of making our message as accessible and free as possible rather than thinking of our audience as well-to-do believers who can afford and ought to pay.

How long have you been involved with DG? Since May of 2004.

Place of birth: Tempe, AZ.

Some favorite dead guys/gals: Henry Scougal, Jonathan Edwards, CH Spurgeon, John Patton, and George Muller.

Some favorites still among the living: John Piper, John Macarthur, David Wells, Marcus Denny, and Justin McKitterick.

A Favorite Piper quote: "Faith is a hunger for God that triumphs over our hunger for the pleasures of this world. And so faith unleashes radically God-centered, risk-taking, people-loving behavior."

Family information: Married to my beautiful wife, Gretchen, and father to four wonderful girls, Brigitta, Natalia, Analina, and Francesca.

On living in Minneapolis, Minnesota: It is cold more than it is warm.

What do you enjoy most for refreshment? Photography, reading, film, playing with my kids, and dating my wife.

Ministry involvement other than DG: Small group and an instructor for The Bethlehem Institute.
