R.C. Sproul is a teacher, theologian, and pastor. He is the founder and chairman of Ligonier Ministries and can be heard daily on the “Renewing Your Mind” radio broadcast. Dr. Sproul holds degrees from Westminster College, Pittsburgh Theological Seminary, and the Free University of Amsterdam. His academic teaching career includes Reformed Theological Seminary and Knox Theological Seminary. Currently, he is Senior Minister of Preaching and Teaching at Saint Andrews Chapel in Sanford, Florida and director of Serve International. In addition, Dr. Sproul is the general editor of The Reformation Study Bible and the executive editor of Tabletalk magazine. Dr. Sproul is married to Vesta and resides in Orlando, Florida.

Thabiti Anyabwile is the senior pastor at First Baptist Church of Grand Cayman (Cayman Islands) and served previously as elder and assistant pastor at Capitol Hill Baptist Church in Washington, D.C. Thabiti holds B.S. and M.S. degrees in Psychology from North Carolina State University. He is the author of two forthcoming books: The Faithful Pastor: Recapturing the Visions of Three Pioneering Preachers (Crossway, 2007) and The Decline of African-American Theology: From Biblical Faithfulness to Cultural Captivity (IVP, 2007). A former high school basketball coach and bookstore owner, Thabiti loves reading, sports, and watching sci-fi films. He is married to Kristie and has two daughters.

William Mackenzie is a gold medal graduate of Glasgow University. Initially he worked in agriculture and continues to be active in the family farming business. He began publishing Christian books thirty years ago with the objective of telling children the Bible stories. Christian Focus Publications now has more than a thousand titles in print and operates across the world in seventy different languages. His passion is to bring glory to God by pointing readers to the excellencies of the Gospel. As a ruling elder for 35 years, he regularly preaches in congregations, large and small, often taking the opportunity to encourage the use of Christian literature! William and his wife Carine (an author in her own right) live in Inverness in the Highlands of Scotland. They have three daughters and six grandchildren.

John Piper is Pastor for Preaching at Bethlehem Baptist Church in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He grew up in Greenville, South Carolina, and studied at Wheaton College, where he first sensed God’s call to enter the ministry. He went on to earn degrees from Fuller Theological Seminary (B.D.) and the University of Munich (D.Theol.). For six years he taught Biblical Studies at Bethel College in Saint Paul, Minnesota, and in 1980 accepted Bethlehem Baptist’s call to serve as pastor. Dr. Piper has written, among other books, Desiring God, Don’t Waste Your Life, God Is the Gospel, and What Jesus Demands from the World. He is married to Noël and has four sons, one daughter, and seven grandchildren.
