Conference Review: Don't Waste Your Life

Desiring God 2008 Regional Conference

On March 28-29, 2008, over 1,400 people came together for worship, teaching and fellowship at our Regional Conference in San Luis Obispo, California. John Piper addressed the theme “Don't Waste Your Life” in three messages. It was a wonderful event, and God was glorified as we were challenged to consider what it means to live the unwasted life.

By God's grace, the teaching seemed to hit its mark and the feedback from attendees was very, very encouraging. We thank the Central Coast Evangelical Pastors Network for partnering with us to serve and bless all who attended. The volunteers from the Parable Group and other areas churches were fantastic to work with. They labored heartily for the joy of the attendees. Our prayer is that God would bless all who took part in this event with a fresh desire to live for the glory of God.
