FAQs

May I make copies of Desiring God CDs and DVDs?

If you would like to make copies for non-commercial use of a CD or MP3 CD that is copyrighted by Desiring God or John Piper, you may do so. In fact, we encourage you to do so

Desiring God does not grant permission to duplicate DVDs or copy recordings for resale apart from a written contractual agreement.

If a copyright is held by Desiring God Foundation (this is a different entity than Desiring God) or another party, you may not copy the item without written permission from the copyright holder. This protects the publisher’s legal rights. Please contact us if you have any questions.

When you copy a DG product to distribute, please include on its label the following information:

  1. The name of the speaker
  2. The title of the message
  3. Desiring God
  4. www.desiringGod.org
  5. 1.888.346.4700
  6. “Copyright [you fill in the year] John Piper. Used by Permission”

If you are going to make more than 100 copies of an item, please let us know.

If you use Desiring God’s free resources, please consider giving to help us keep posting these resources for free
