  • Original R. Albert Mohler, Jr.

    R. Albert Mohler, Jr. serves as the president of The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky. A leader among American evangelicals, he is a theologian and an ordained minister, having served as minister of several Southern Baptist churches. He holds a Master of Divinity degree and a Ph.D. from South- ern Seminary. In addition to his presidential duties, Dr. Mohler hosts a daily radio show entitled “The Albert Mohler Program." Widely sought as a columnist and commentator, Dr. Mohler has been quoted in the leading newspapers of the nation including USA Today, The Washington Post, and The New York Times. He is the author of several book including Shift: Engaging Current Issues with Timeless TruthAtheism Remix: A Christian Confronts the New Atheists, and The Disappearance of God: Dangerous Beliefs in the New Spiritual Openness. He and his wife Mary have two children.

  • Original R. C. Sproul

    R. C. Sproul is founder and president of Ligonier Ministries and is recognized throughout the church for his articulate defense of the holiness of God, divine sovereignty, and other essential doctrines of the Christian faith. His teaching can be heard worldwide on the program “Renewing Your Mind." Dr. Sproul also serves as the senior minister of preaching and teaching at Saint Andrew's in Sanford, Florida, is chancellor of Ligonier Academy of Biblical & Theological Studies, and has written more than 70 books including Reason to BelieveDefending Your FaithThe Truth of the CrossTruths We Confess, and The Prince's Poison Cup. Dr. Sproul is married to Vesta and resides in Orlando, Florida.

  • Original Thabiti Anyabwile

    Thabiti Anyabwile is the senior pastor at First Baptist Church of Grand Cayman (Cayman Islands) and served previously as elder and assistant pastor at Capitol Hill Baptist Church in Washington, D.C. Thabiti holds B.S. and M.S. degrees in Psychology from North Carolina State University. He serves as a Council Member of the Gospel Coalition and is the author of The Gospel for Muslims: An Encouragement to Share Christ with Confidence,What is a Healthy Church Member?, and The Decline of African American Theology. A former high school basketball coach and bookstore owner, Thabiti loves reading, sports, and watching sci-fi films. He is married to Kristie and has three children.

  • Original Francis Chan

    Francis Chan is the pastor of Cornerstone Church in Simi Valley, where he has been serving for the past 15 years. He has a B.A. from Master's college and a M.Div. from Master's Seminary. He is also the Chancellor of Eternity Bible College and serves on the board of directors for Children's Hunger Fund and World Impact.

    Francis spends much of his time speaking to high school and college students and is the author of Crazy Love and Forgotten God. His commitment is to teach directly from the words of Scripture. It is his passion to see the next generation of American Christians display a much deeper love for Jesus and their neighbors.

    Francis is married to Lisa and they have three daughters and one son.

  • Original Rick Warren

    Rick Warren is the founding pastor of Saddleback Church in Lake Forest, California, a Christian community that he and his wife began in their home in 1980, with just one other family. Today Saddleback is one of the most prominent churches in America with more than 20,000 members attending four campuses each week, reaching out through some 200 ministries. Rick is the author of The Purpose Driven Life, which is the top selling hardcover book of all time. Among other titles, he has also authored the forthcoming The Hope You Need (November 2010 Zondervan). Rick and his wife, Kay, give away 90 percent of their income through three foundations: Acts of Mercy, which serves those infected and affected by AIDS; Equipping the Church, which trains church leaders in developing countries; and The Global PEACE Fund, which fights illiteracy.

  • Original John Piper

    John Piper is Pastor for Preaching and Vision at Bethlehem Baptist Church in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

    He grew up in Greenville, South Carolina, and studied at Wheaton College, where he first sensed God's call to enter the ministry. He went on to earn degrees from Fuller Theological Seminary (B.D.) and the University of Munich (D.Theol.).

    For six years he taught Biblical Studies at Bethel College in Saint Paul, Minnesota, and in 1980 accepted the call to serve as pastor of Bethlehem Baptist Church.

    He has written, among other books, Desiring GodDon't Waste Your LifeGod Is the GospelWhat Jesus Demands from the World, and Spectacular Sins.

    He is married to Noël and has four sons and a daughter.

    Randy Alcorn is the founder and director of Eternal Perspective Ministries (EPM). Prior to 1990, when he started EPM, he served as a pastor for fourteen years. He has spoken around the world and has taught on the adjunct faculties of Multnomah Bible College and Western Seminary in Portland, Oregon. Randy is the best-selling author of over 30 books including the novels Safely Home and Deception. His nonfiction works include Money, Possessions, and EternityThe Treasure PrincipleThe Grace and Truth ParadoxThe Purity PrincipleHeaven; and If God Is Good. Randy has written for many magazines and produces the popular periodical Eternal Perspectives.

    Kevin DeYoung is the Senior Pastor at University Reformed Church in East Lansing, Michigan, where he has served since 2004. Prior to this, he served as the Associate Pastor at First Reformed Church in Orange City, Iowa.

    Kevin holds degrees from Hope College and Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. He has authored several titles includingFreedom & Boundaries and Just Do Something. He has also co-authored two books with Ted Kluck, Why We Love The Church: In Praise of Institutions and Organized Religion and Why We're Not Emergent: By two Guys Who Should Be.

  • Original Tullian Tchividjian

    Tullian Tchividjian (pronounced cha-vi-jin) is a Florida native, the pastor of Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church in Fort Lauderdale, a visiting professor of theology at Reformed Theological Seminary, and a grandson of Billy and Ruth Graham.

    A graduate of Columbia International University (philosophy) and Reformed Theological Seminary in Orlando, Tullian is the author of Do I Know God? Finding Certainty in Life's Most Important RelationshipUnfashionable: Making a Difference in the World by Being Different and Surprised by Grace: God's Relentless Pursuit of Rebels. Tullian is also a contributing editor to Leadership Journal. He speaks at conferences throughout the U.S. and his sermons are broadcast daily on the radio program Godward Living.

    Matt Perman is the Senior Director of Strategy at Desiring God Ministries in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

    A graduate of the University of Northern Iowa, he holds an M.Div. from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.

    Matt blogs at What's Best Next. His blog is about two things: “How to best manage our lives and work, and how to best think about the way that the businesses and non-profits that we work should be led.”

    Matt lives in Maple Grove, Minnesota with his wife and three children.

  • Original N.D. Wilson

    N.D. Wilson (Nathan David Wilson), son to Doug and Nancy Wilson, is an author, editor, and teacher.

    Wilson is a graduate of New Saint Andrews College and holds a Master of Liberal Arts degree from St. John's College. He has served as the Fellow of Literature at New Saint Andrews College since 2004. He is also managing editor for Credenda/Agendamagazine, a cultural journal.

    As an author, Wilson writes in a variety of different genres. He has authored two parodies of the Left Behind series—Right Behind and Supergeddon; he has written novels for young readers—Leepike Ridge and The 100 Cupboards Trilogy; he has written for children—The Dragon and the Garden and In the Time of Noah; and he has authored one non-fiction title focusing on theology and life—Notes From the Tilt-A-Whirl.

    Wilson lives in Idaho with his wife and their five children.
