Jim Tomaszewski

Position and description of what you do: Manager for Customer & Product Support, Children Desiring God. It is my joy to assist churches and individuals to consider the challenge of introducing the next generation to know and treasure Jesus Christ above all else. I assist with the development, teaching and production of the CDG resources as well as equipping churches in the implementation of the curriculum.

How long have you been involved with DG? 4 years.

Place of birth: White Bear Lake, Minnesota.

Family information:Thankful to God for my wife of 20+ years, Carmen and blessed with four children; Sarah, Naomi, James, & David.

On living in Minneapolis, Minnesota: I live in St Paul and drive across the river to work each day. For most of the world we are called the “Twin Cities,” however, if you live here there is St Paul and then there is Minneapolis.

What do you enjoy most for refreshment? I enjoy spending time with my family and being around people. A walk with my wife is one of my favorite activities. I survived the challenge of snowboarding last winter and enjoy time on the water watching show skiing in the summer. Coaching sports has been a great outlet for investing in the lives of others. Hanging out with our “small group” from church is an increasing delight. I have a certain amount of jet fuel in my blood which leads to travel for both work and pleasure.

Ministry involvement other than DG: I enjoy serving and encouraging people. Sometimes I teach Sunday School or midweek classes and other times it is simply finding an opportunity to serve others.
